Triadimefon Promoted Plasmid-mediated Conjugative Transfer of Multiple Antibiotic Resistance Genes within Bacterial Genus

چکیده
The rapid spread of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) has been a worldwide threat to the public health, especially via horizontal gene transfer (HGT). Conjugation is one major pathways HGT. Triadimefon (TF) broad-spectrum antifungal compound used control rust and powdery mildew on crops. Nevertheless, it not known whether TF could affect conjugation ARGs potential molecular mechanisms. Here, effects conjugative RP4 plasmid within Escherichia coli were systematically investigated. results demonstrated that increased transconjugant number by 1.41–2.21 folds frequency 1.49–2.22 at concentrations 0.1–10 mg/L. There was no obvious change in donor recipient strains mating system intra-genus with TF. main mechanisms include increasing intracellular reactive oxygen species membrane permeability. Our findings highlight promotion effect ARG conjugation, providing evidence risk non-antibiotic agrochemical use dissemination.

Conjugative transfer of plasmid-located antibiotic resistance genes within the gastrointestinal tract of lesser mealworm larvae, Alphitobius diaperinus (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae).
The frequency of conjugative transfer of antimicrobial resistance plasmids between bacteria within the gastrointestinal tract of lesser mealworm larvae, a prevalent pest in poultry production facilities, was determined. Lesser mealworm larvae were exposed to a negative bacterial control, a donor Salmonella enterica serotype Newport strain, a recipient Escherichia coli, or both donor and recipie...

Enterobacteriaceae is a family of bacteria including Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae that are common colonizers of the gastrointestinal tract. Extended spectrum βlactamases (ESBL) are bacterial enzymes that degrade β-lactam antibiotics and thus make the bacteria resistant to β-lactam antibiotics. ESBL-producing Enterobacteriaceae (EPE) is an increasing problem constituting a burden o...

The transmissible plasmid pAMbeta1, which codes for erythromycin and lincomycin resistance, was conjugally transferred from a Lancefield group F Streptococcus to a strain of Streptococcus avium. Both organisms served as pAMbeta1 donors for three strains of Lactobacillus casei. Introduction of pAMbeta1 into one of the L. casei strains caused the organism to lose its native 6.7 X 10(6)-dalton pla...

Eleven Staphylococcus aureus clinical isolates were tested for transfer of resistance markers by transduction and filter mating. The resistance markers of six of the strains could be transferred only by transduction; however, the five remaining strains transferred their resistance both by transduction and filter mating. The resistance markers that were cotransferred in filter matings (transfer ...
